Context

Sacem was struggling with several non-integrated IT Systems while the innovations and the Internet distribution of music was gaining momentum. Hence, cash management and reporting was hampered and time-consuming. At the same, time more and more Use cases appeared as Music Major and licensing Agreement spawned innovations.

Approach

Matched business rules with product and service innovations from Major, Optimized and integrated processes (CRM, Contracts, Tariffs, Rights Management, Receivables, Distribution, Reporting). Developed a dedicated calculation module for rights, Prepared and adjusted Program Organization and implementation organization.

Outcomes

Implemented Oracle e-Business Suite ERP over a 4-year period (M€ 100 per year of rights management / 400 B2B contracts, 4 majors / 4,000 men/days+ ), Introduced a tailored Agile implementation and coaching teams; Streamlined the organization with a 30% staff reduction plan, Reengineered the reporting process and statement from contract to cash distribution.
